Fridays are possibly my favorite day, especially this Friday. I usually have to go to work on Friday, but today I took a vacation day. The extra weekend day is not why Fridays are special to me. It’s casual day at the office. And I don’t mean “business casual” with dockers and golf shirts, I mean “casual” with jeans and tennies. Since my normal uniform is a bit more staid, I love jeans and tennies!

I was very obedient to God this week. I ate small breakfasts’ and a lunches later in the afternoon. I had very few dinners since my body doesn’t seem to get hungry at night. Yes, I lost the 3 pounds, but more important than that is that I have felt God’s approval all week. I feel like He tested me many times this week and I was obedient to him. (Even with oreo cookies at group last night!)

Thank you Lord for Your grace and mercy to me, a sinner. Thank You that You are always there even when I stumble and fall. Thanks for picking me up and dusting me off!
