It is so hot today! I hope no one gets over-heated at group tonight! Mark just came in from watering outside and said he wet himself down and feels much cooler. I know we are practicing simplicity, but I’m thinking that a hot tub out front would be a great way to cool down.

One week down at Glendale and one to go. I’ll be moving to Westminster Gardens soon. I will have an office 4 times the cubical I am in right now at Royal Oaks Manor. But, there are some perks there too–garage parking keeps the car so clean and cool. Oh well, I am excited about having an office with a balcony, and room where I can take all my plants.

I’m looking forward to group tonight even though I found the goals tough. Personal goals were easy, but goals for the Kingdon were more difficult. I am not sure what my Kingdom vocation is yet. (I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up!)

Accountability group is going to be great. I think it will help me with Kingdom goals. Mark and I don’t have much Boom City unless you count computers. I mean, half the execs at work drive a Lexus’ or Expedition and I have and Isuzu! I live in a mobile home and my boss is selling his house in Pasadena for a million dollars!

Lord, help me to live in Your Kingdom, despite the Boom City around me. Keep me from feeling the pressure to conform to Boom City values.
