Mark and I did something yesterday that we’ve been talking about for ages. We went and bought a gas grill for bbqs outside. We had the salespeople load it in the van for us because we couldn’t even scoot it on the cart! When we got home, our “Friends” neighbors came over and helped us unload it. Then Mark and I spend all afternoon putting it together. What fun and only one cut finger and one bump on the head!

Deb and Jason came over to help us break it in. It was great! I am looking forward to a great deal more bbqs with our community!

My kids were at their dad’s so the “Z” kids had to entertain themselves. They were laughing and acting like singers and rock stars with imaginary mics in their hands. I wanted to laugh with them as their joy spilled over with their silly playing. They are so natural, and so unembarrased to play and dance and sing. What great children Deb and Jason have!

Lord, as I seek you with all that I have, give me Your joy that spills over into the lives of others. Let me be open and unembarrassed to be the person You are creating me to be.
