Today was it! We went to the church we were attending for the last time. (Of course, we may visit, but not very soon, I think.) The worship was great, and it was very emotional. I felt bad for the guest speaker. The Board called Mark and Jason up to pray for them and release them before the message. It must have been tough to preach after that.

So, we begin our new adventure!

I want to share something that happened during the Lenton season. Some of you know, I fasted from chocolate for Lent. Now, I am one of those chocoholic women you hear about. DO NOT get in my way when there’s chocolate involved! I have my own stash in a tin and everyone at home knows they can’t get into it! So the very fact that I was able not to eat any in 40+ days is nothing short of God’s amazing grace. But, the really amazing thing is that I no longer need chocolate. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the way it tastes, but I don’t have to have it! I have a candy dish at work filled with nuggets, and I haven’t had but 2 since Easter!

God is so good! I haven’t decided which of my fleshly desires to fast from next, but I know that once I do, I will be healed of its control of me. Praise God!! So, I am praying about the next thing to fast from, and I would appreciate your prayers too!
